The University of Chicago and the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics are excited to announce the launch of a Biomedical Ethics concentration as part of a one-year Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Sciences program. This unique concentration is designed to provide foundational training in biomedical ethics that is applicable to any career in biomedicine. Students in the Biomedical Ethics concentration build in-depth skills and knowledge around the fundamental principles of biomedical and clinical ethics, history and moral philosophical arguments underlying these principles, and their application to modern day ethical dilemmas present in the healthcare system.
