Biomedical Ethics MS Concentration

The University of Chicago and the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics are excited to announce the launch of a Biomedical Ethics concentration as part of a one-year Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Sciences program. This unique concentration is designed to provide foundational training in biomedical ethics that is applicable to any career in biomedicine. Students in the Biomedical Ethics concentration build in-depth skills and knowledge around the fundamental principles of biomedical and clinical ethics, history and moral philosophical arguments underlying these principles, and their application to modern day ethical dilemmas present in the healthcare system.

  • One year, STEM-OPT eligible program.
  • Core coursework in applications and innovations in clinical care and medical treatment, statistics, bioethics, and the American health care system.
  • Complete as dual MS/MBA through Chicago Booth.
  • Scholarships available.
